And what's more... no hassle with how do I connect this thing to my AIRMATE-USB/AIRENCE-USB/AIRLAB or AXUM.
No complicated high voltage AC switching with external relays etc. etc.
What you only need is one stereo cable (wired tip/ring) coming from the MIC-ON connector on the back of the AIRMATE/AIRENCE/AIRLAB console that goes directly hardwired to a terminal strip inside the ON-AIR LAMP. How easy is this for a change.
The power adapter will also be directly wired to the terminal strip inside the unit.

Despite its tiny footprint, XB-10 is packed with the kinds of specialised broadcast features that normally come at a much higher price. Radio-friendly tools include a telephone communication (telco) channel, mic channel ON switch sensing, stereo channel start/cue outputs for CD deck transport control and automatic muting of speaker outputs. A separate monitor mix can be created for operator and guest or presenter, and the operator can speak off-air to the studio or telephone callers using the ʽTalk' feature.
XB-10's preamps use low noise discrete transistor circuitry to achieve high gain and excellent linearity. XB-10 features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ with optimised slope for a variety of sources.
Output Limiter
A variable limiter ensures the level does not exceed a pre-defined level. Back panel option switches allow the limiter to be bypassed. A trim pot is used to vary the threshold and an LED on the front panel indicates when the limiter has triggered.
CompACT Compressor
XB-10 features our ComPACT compressor on each of its mic channels. CompACT (Adaptive Compression Technology) is a program-dependent audio leveller. Unlike other compressors, which are effective only at reducing loud sounds, CompACT combines both downward and upward compression with peak limiting. The DX2000USB features Behringer's supersmooth channel faders and the INFINIUM contact-free, VCA-controlled, optical crossfader, for the ultimate in reliability and state-of-the-art audio performance. A dedicated CF Curve control allows you to custom-tailor the crossfader's control characteristic, and you can even set the crossfader tension just the way you like it.
The DX2000USB features 5 dual-stereo inputs plus 2 mono Mic/Line channels, with Behringer's ultralow-noise (ULN) mic preamps, phantom power, gain control and clip LED. The DX2000USB has enough built-in phono preamps to handle up to 3 turntables. Finally, the built-in USB/audio interface gives you the power to add your computer’s digital music library to the mix.
- The DX2000USB comes armed with a 3-band kill EQ and Gain control per channel. Mono channels feature an additional Low Cut switch and an FX switch that routes the channel to the FX Send and Return loop, so you can add a touch of your outboard effects. These channels, which accept microphone and ¼" line sources, also feature a Talkover button, a Channel On button, and PFL switch for headphone monitoring. Stereo channels have an EQ on/off switch, as well as a Crossfader button that sends the channel to the main stereo mix or the crossfader. An Assign button selects whether the channel appears on the X or Y side of the Crossfader.
- For the DJ in need of mammoth bass, the DX2000USB features an XLR Sub-Bass Out (perfect for connecting to an active subwoofer), and with an adjustable Crossover Frequency (30 to 200 Hz) and dedicated Level control. Directly above, the DX2000USB provides a ¼" Main Mono output for synching your music’s strongest pulses with a lighting system. The Main Output section offers ¼" and XLR stereo outputs, and ¼" inputs for connection to outboard EQ units. This section also features RCA outputs for recording your set. The Monitor/Zone Output section gives you stereo ¼" and XLR Monitor Outputs, as well as ¼" stereo Zone Outputs.

The new AIRLAB DT radio ON-AIR console is D&R’s solution for applications where features and functions have to be weighed up against operational simplicity. A simple direct accessible control surface combined with intelligent instantly reset-able digital functions enables customizing to station requirements, and even to personal requirements, thanks to the use of a personalized chip card, holding all important functional data. D&R\'s AIRLAB has a welded steel drop through frame that will accommodate a maximum of 16 triple input modules with or without EQ, a digital AES/EBU in/output module, an USB module, a Control Module and Telco modules (up to 16) and the master section. The perfect mixing board for FM Broadcasting, Podcasting, Webcasting, or streaming to the internet!
The main outputs are electronically balanced (transformer balancing is an option) and the majority of connectors are on balanced XLRs.
