| Sica 5 C 1 CS Z002320
The Sica 5 C 1 CS is a 5″ (130 mm) coaxial loudspeaker with integrated tweeter. This loudspeaker was created as a practical and functional solution for Car Audio set-up systems.
Being dedicated to the world of Car Audio, the 5 C 1 CS is only available in a 4 Ω version (Z002320). The woofer part features a sheet steel basket and a ferrite magnet. Despite this, the total net weight of the loudspeaker is only 800 grams. The voice coil has a diameter of 25 mm (1″), and is wound on an epotex stand. Furthermore, the woofer voice coil can dissipate an electrical power of 50 WattAES. Finally, the woofer's voice coil is complemented by rubber suspension and an untreated paper membrane.
The tweeter mounts a voice coil with a nominal diameter of 13 mm, and is driven by a small neodymium magnet using ferrofluid in the air gap. It is precisely the use of ferrofluid that allows the tweeter's voice coil to dissipate heat properly, allowing it to cool optimally. Finally, the total average sensitivity of this loudspeaker is 91.5 dBSPL 1W/1m, as stated by Sica.
